" Acid rain" is a wide term talking about a mixture of wet and dry deposition (deposited material) in the atmosphere containing higher than typical amounts of nitric and sulfuric acids. The precursors, or chemical forerunners, of acid rain formation result from both natural options, such as volcanoes and rotting vegetation, and man-made resources, primarily exhausts of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) resulting from precious fuel burning. In the United States, about 2/3 coming from all SO2 and 1/4 of all NOx are derived from electric power generation that relies upon burning non-renewable fuels, like fossil fuel. Acid rainwater occurs the moment these smells react inside the atmosphere with water, air, and other chemical compounds to form numerous acidic chemical substances. The result is a mild solution of sulfuric chemical p and nitric acid. The moment sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides are released from power plant life and other options, prevailing wind gusts blow these kinds of compounds around state and national borders, sometimes above hundreds of kilometers.
